NOTD...Minted!

I was in search of a light greenish nail polish and I usually like using either OPI or Essie and so I saw that essie had the perfect color i was looking for so I went down to ULTA and when I got there, they color was sold out. I was determined to find a similar color and came across Revlon's minted nail polish. Not only was this color very similar to Essie's mint candy apple but it was like half the price! They were have a sale and I believe i paid around $2.99 for it! I am in love with this color! Its perfect for Easter and it will be a great color to wear during the summer!

Skin Trip Body Lotion

Hands down Mountain Ocean Skin Trip Coconut body lotion is the BEST body lotion! It is not greasy and very lightweight. If you love coconut scent lotions then, you must try this one. This is best used after getting out of the shower or after spending a long day in the sun and your skin needs moisture. It absorbs into the skin so quickly, that you will not have that greasy feel.

I bought mine at Whole Foods and I think I paid about $10 for it. There are also many online retailers that sell it as well.

I love using the MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick and then putting the first viva glam lipgloss on top. Another favorite combination is using the Mac Angel lipstick and then putting the NARS turkish delight lipgloss.

Review: Bare Escentuals foundation

So I have purchased a Bare Escentuals starter kit about 4 or 5 years ago before they had the Matte formula and at first I loved it, but after a while i wasn't so happy with it so I stopped using it. I wanted to love this foundation since everyone was always raving about how healthy it was for your skin. It kept breaking me out and I wasn't too happy with the color I had been using.

Last summer I decided to visit a Bare Escentuals store after I heard about the new matte formula that came out awhile back and purchased the foundation in Golden Medium. I loved that they had added this new shade because it had a more yellow undertone and thats what I look for in my foundation color. This was also a new formula so I was excited to try give it another try.

Why I love the matte formula:

* to me it isn't entirely matte so it doesn't look to cakey on!

*This new formula is so smooth and silky, it melts and buff right into your skin!

*It contains their signature rareminerals active soil complex that leslie always raves about, which is supposed to improve the look and texture of skin!

*I love how you can lock the new packaging so the foundation won't go all over

*The added SPF 15 is perfect during the summer to block those harmful rays

Overall I absolutely love this new formula and I am so happy that they came out with new colors. I suggest you go out and try this new formula!

Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel

This is such a great moisturizer. It is very lightweight and hydrating. It has a very faint scent to it which is a good thing because no one really likes moisturizer that have a strong irritating scent to it. If you are not familiar with Clinique, they are well known for their skin care products. They have a 3 step skin care and this moisturizer is step 3. Step 1 and 2 are the cleanser and facial toner.

They have a dramatically different moisturizing LOTION and GEL. The lotion is for people who have normal to dry skin, while the gel is for people who tend to have combination/oily skin. So make sure you pay attention to which one you buy because I made a mistake at first.

I purchased the 1.7 fl oz. at first to see if I would like it and I am in love with it and as soon as i run out I am going to purchase the bigger bottle which is 4.2 fl oz. The 1.7 is $13 while the 4.2 is $23.

MAC Fix+

Mac Fix Plus is described as a refresher/finishing spray. It contains vitamins and minerals and is infused with chamomile, green tea and cucumbers. I think that everyone should own a bottle! It can be used for multiple things like for setting your make up or spraying it on your face before applying a moisturizer.
