I have been hearing great things about the Sonia Kashuk highlighting brush so I decided to purchased it at target for only 12.99! I use this brush to apply my liquid foundation and it is amazing, it gives you the perfect airbrush finish. I've always wanted the MAC 187 brush but could never justify spending $42 on it. I have never tried the Mac but but I heard it works just as great at the Sonia Kashuk one so give it a try! Im in love with it!

My first blog entry! My HG foundation!
So I have been having a hard time finding the perfect liquid foundation and after trying different brands, I have finally found it! I am in loooove with MAC's Studio Fix Fluid in NC 35. The MAC Studio Fix Fluid has a very thick liquid consistency and it is a matte finish so this is a good foundation for people with oily skin like me. This foundation does cake up pretty easy so it is important to only use about a pea size amount to begin with. It does contain an SPF of 15 which is a good enough sun protection. Most foundations that do contain SPFs, do not photograph very well but this one still looks good in pictures.
I find that this foundation is best applied using a stippling brush. Another great way to apply this is by using a beauty blender, and just adding a little water to the blender so it can glide on easier.
The only bad thing that i have to say about this is that is does not come with a pump, you have to purchase one separately for about $6.
Studio fix fluid is $26.50 for 1.0 fl oz and there's about 30 shades so get down to your local MAC store and get color matched!
Overall it has a very nice finishing look to it and I highly recommend this product!
