SKIN CARE STEPS TO BEAUTIFUL SKIN

1  2  3  4

1. The Clarisonic PRO has changed my skin for the best. As you know I have acne prone skin and tend to get blackheads. This has done a good job of drying up my acne and getting rid of blackheads. I use it every night to make sure my makeup is fully removed and to exfoliate my skin.

2. The Image Ormedic Balancing Facial Cleanser is my holy grail cleanser. It is seriously the best, because it not only removes impurities and makeup, but it will balance the ph in your skin and eliminate the use for a toner.

3. This Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for sensitive skin is my favorite because it is a basic moisturize that give my skin the right amount of hydration. A plus to this moisturizer is that it is non-comedogenic (it will not clog your pores).

4. The Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream is something i like to use both morning and night to help keep those wrinkles at bay. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to hold 1,000 times it's weight in water, without the use of heavy oils.

What are you're skin care steps to beautiful skin?

T.J.MAXX FINDS

I have been on the hunt for a cute pair of jelly sandals to use at the beach or on a pool day and the hunt finally came to an end when I found these beauties at T.J.Maxx. They are the Chinese Laundry studded jelly sandals. The best part is that they were only $14.99.

When walking up to the register you have to walk though a little walkway that was built with the stores shelving and they are usually filled with makeup products, candles, gift bags and electronic accessories. I came across this e.l.f. Small Stipple Brush and had to have it. A girl can never have too many makeup brushes and it was only $2.69!

CND VINYLUX WEEKLY POLISH

CND has come out with a great alternative to Shellac. It is the VINYLUX Weekly Polish. This is is a great alternative to Shellac because you can change your polish every week if you'd like. CND claims that you can wear their Vinylux polishes for 7+ days without chipping! When I heard about this product I was so excited and could not wait to get my hands on a bottle of it. I am not a big fan of shellac for a few reasons: I get tired of seeing the same polish on my nails for two weeks, I do not like soaking my hands in acetone to remove them and for some reason my nails look horrible once the shellac is removed.

With that being said, I think this is the perfect polish. No base coat is needed, all you need to apply is two thin coats of the VINYLUX Weekly Polish and finish off with one coat of the VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat. The VINYLUX Weekly Polish and theVINYLUX Weekly Top Coat are designed to work together. The innovative technology creates a long lasting wear and durability with exposure to natural light over time, which means that UV lamps are not needed to cure this polish!

VINYLUX dries completely in just eight and a half minutes and offers 62 polish colors to choose from (over 30 colors match the CND Shellac colors).

I picked up a bottle of the Hot Pop Pink #121 and the Weekly Top Coat. I painted my nails on Sunday, so it's day 3 and they still look fabulous!

Let me know what your thoughts are on the CND VINYLUX Weekly Polish if you have tried it.

Favorite Lips For The Summer

I was in a wedding at the beginning of May and had to get my makeup done, so I decided to make an appointment at the Mac counter. I was hesitant and excited at the same time because I had never gotten my makeup done at the Mac counter. I was very pleased the finished look and fell in love with my lips. I had asked for a neutral pink lip and this is what she came up with. Lips were lined with Boldly Bare lip liner, then filled in with Creme Cup cremsheen lipstick and the gloss she used was something that I would have never reached for, it is the Viva Glam Nicki 2.

The boldy bare lip liner has a brownish red tone to it. The creme cup lipstick is a pretty little blue with pink. The viva glam Nicki 2 lip glass is a pastel lavender pink.

Image Skincare

I have been using Image Skincare for about a month now and I am in love with their products and I am very happy with the results that I noticed within the month. Image Skincare is a professional line, which means that you will not be able to purchase it at the store. You can get it from a licensed esthetician or a doctor. I have been using five products and they are all results orientated.

Image Skincare to simple to understand. Their line is color coded and you can mix different products from their different lines. They have the Ageless line which is silver and is effective for preventing and treating the signs of aging and environmental exposures. They have the Vital C line which is orange and is effective for those with dry, dehydrated skin and those who suffer from rosacea and eczema. They have the Ormedic line, which is green and uses the purest organic ingredients and can be used on all skin types. They have the Clear Cell line, which is blue and is highly effective to fight acne, reduce inflammation, eliminate excess oil and purify skin. They also have daily defense which is yellow and is their sunscreen line and offer a product to suit every skin type.

I have been using two of the cleansers which are the Ormedic balancing facial cleanser and the Clear Cell salicylic cleanser. My skin is combination oily and I am prone to breakouts, so I thought these would be the best cleansers for me to try. The Ormedic balancing facial cleanser is a organic gel based cleanser that contains green tea and chamomile that lifts away makeup and impurities.  It also contains a blend of comfrey, calendula and rich botanicals. This helps my skin balance out the oil and never leaves my skin feeling dry. My skin is left hydrated and soft. I use this cleanser both in the morning and evening. I like to use the Clear Cell about two times per week if needed to help keep my breakouts at bay. This cleaner is also gel based and contains salicylic acid which is known as a chemical exfoliator. It gently exfoliates dead skin cells and keeps my skin smooth feeling and soft. This cleanser sometimes tends to make my skin tight a dry, so it is necessary to use a moisturizer after.

I have also been using the Clear Cell medicated acne lotion. This lotion works wonders! This product contains Benzoyl Peroxide which is known to immediately kill the bacteria. It also contains Chamomile and Tea Tree helps heal and soothe the skin. I do not like to put this on my whole face, but I like to use it to spot treat with it. I immediately put this on a blemish and usually by the next day it has significantly reduced or disappeared. I had been using this on a small area in the middle of my forehead because i had always had some congestion and small bumps and my forehead has improved since using it. It is now smooth and clear. Since I have oily skin and use the acne products, it is important to moisturizer and hydrate the skin. Just because you have oily skin does not mean you should not be moisturizing the skin. in fact if you don't hydrate oily skin, your skin can rebel and produces more oil to compensate for the lack of moisture that you did not put back in. I like to use the Vital C hydrating anti-agin serum. This serum helps nourish and hydrate the skin using vitamins A,C and E. This is a non-greasy formula and smells like oranges. Leaves my skin feeling soft and supple with just the right amount of hydration.

Lastly I like to use the Ageless total resurfacing masque. It is and exfoliating mask with a blend of Glycolic and Salicylic acids to help resurface the skin and sloughing off the build up of dead cells. This mask helps lighten brown spots and helps with reducing acne marks that get left behind. I like to use this mask twice a week.

I recommend this professional line to anyone who wants results. I have not used their other products, but I am sure they are just ask awesome as the ones that I have been using.

Jane Iredale Active Light Under-Eye Concealer

This is the best concealer to bright up the under eyes. It has a very soft and velvety feel that will smooth right on the skin. It contains a lot of natural ingredients to calm tired eyes and reduce puffiness, such as such as cucumber, white tea extract and buckwheat wax. It also has the benefit of moisturizing under the eyes using avocado and sunflower oil

It has never caked up on me and nor has it settled in my fine lines. It is so creamy and light, that it feels as if you are not using any under eye concealer. It comes in 6 different shades and is $27. You can find this product on Janeiredale.com or you can pick one up at your nearest salon/spa that carries Jane Iredale cosmetics.

Mine is in the shade No. 2
